Training for professionals
For those who wish to use the emWave (or emWave Desktop) not only for themselves, but to apply it in one-on-one situations like coaching or in health care, we have a two-day intensive training. Each participant will be able to use the emWave Desktop (formerly the emWave PC) extensively, and to work on the details of this biofeedback program, including the use of the power spectrum. Besides discovering the scientific basis, the program’s aim is mainly to focus on the process of helping and supporting clients to improve coherence.
The purpose of the Training for Professionals is to learn these competencies:
- Understanding of the HeartMath emWave Desktop program (and the portable emWave) and to be able to apply it into the practice of therapy and diagnostics
- Understanding of the fields of application
- Understanding of stress and coherence
- Understanding of self-regulating skills
- Be able to apply the Quick-Coherence tool with the emWave Desktop program for its own specific and client-related needs in one-on-one situations in different settings
The trainers are: Ewold de Maar (principal trainer) and Irmi Klijntunte (psychiatrist).
The training includes dinner and an overnight stay. At the moment all trainings are in Dutch (or German), on requests english trainings for groups (minimum of 8 attendees) can be delivered.
